Description
The most revolutionary time saving method EVER!
This new tape technology makes for the fastest fittings possible. Easier to install than standard tapes and with far more versatility to adapt to finer hair. Can be fitted like standard tapes in a large sandwich or adapted to 3 other ways to fit so you can control the size weight and shades more than any other method.
Fitting options:
- Standard fitting by sandwiching x 2 full tape tabs together to create a 5g sandwich.
- Tri fold one 2.5g piece
- Cut in centre tab to make 2 x 1.25g pieces to tri fold both seperately
- Cut at every other tab to make 3 x 0.83g pieces to fold once for finer hair areas
How Much Hair Is Needed for a Full Head?
A professional consultation with a qualified hair extension specialist is always recommended to determine the correct number of strands or grams for your individual hair type. However, here’s a helpful general guide:
• Fine hair full head – approx. 125g (5 packs)
• Medium/average thickness hair – approx. 150g (6 packs)
• Thick hair full head – approx. 200g (8 packs)
What Is MVP Hair?
MVP Hair Extensions are the most superior quality in the Routes collection and the most valuable professional hair on the market. Softer, silkier, and more luxurious than our Luxury and PG ranges, MVP Hair is crafted exclusively from 100% Virgin Remy Human Hair, sourced carefully to ensure full cuticle alignment.
Before processing, the hair has never been chemically treated, preserving its natural strength and softness. Our advanced processing technology uses gentle, natural-based ingredients with minimal chemical exposure, allowing the hair to retain its integrity, shine, and strength for longer wear.
MVP Hair undergoes multiple drawing stages to remove shorter strands, resulting in thick, healthy ends and full-bodied volume from root to tip.
MVP Hair Extensions Lifespan
With proper care, MVP Hair Extensions can last approximately:
• 12 to 18 months (up to 12 months for light blonde shades)
Longevity always depends on the client’s lifestyle, heat usage, and aftercare routine. Our recommended lifespan is based solely on customers using the full Routes aftercare range, including:
• Routes Hair Extension Shampoo
• Routes Hair Extension Conditioner
• Routes Protein Spray
Please note: using alternative aftercare products may reduce lifespan and void your quality guarantee once fitted.
Hair Origin & Ethical Sourcing
MVP Hair is ethically sourced from the Mongolia/North China border region, purchased at the highest market value to ensure fair compensation to consenting adult donors. We pride ourselves on transparency – we do not falsely advertise our hair as “Russian” or “Mongolian” like many other brands. Industry-Leading Quality Control
Routes Hair follows a rigorous multi-step quality control process to ensure that only the highest-grade hair is sold:
• Pre-production: Hair is inspected for health, cuticle alignment, and strand strength
• Processing: After each colouring or bleaching step, hair is tested for integrity and cuticle retention
• Post-processing: Hair is drawn multiple times for a thick, even ratio and checked for shade accuracy
• Final packaging: Each piece is weighed, colour-matched to our shade ring, and inspected for length accuracy
When the hair arrives at our UK warehouse, it’s checked again for weight, colour match, and quality before it ever reaches our packing stations.
Anything less than perfect? It goes straight back to the factory.
****PLEASE NOTE****
The tape part of Tri Tapes is much thinner than regular tape to give a skin fine fitting that’s the most comfortable and discreet.
It is perfectly normal for the tri tapes to separate upon removal into the smaller bumps. When removing the tape will often separate into the smaller 6 sections but the good news is due to the thin tape you can re- tape without removing the old tape.
Using tape roll you would roll out a strip to re tape, then apply the small bumps onto one strip of hair, either back to x6 bumps or less or more (whatever you prefer) so they are very versatile. This is also a good way to get great colour mixes.
