Cancellation Policy
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be altered or stopped while processing.
However, unused goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt for exchange or refund.
Due to automated fulfilment, we cannot combine or amend multiple orders once submitted.
Late or Lost Orders
Delivery times are quoted in good faith, based on courier schedules. Routes Hair Extensions Ltd cannot be held responsible for any costs, loss of earnings, or other expenses arising from delayed or failed deliveries.
If a guaranteed timed delivery arrives later than the specified timeframe, we will reimburse the cost of that delivery service only.
In the rare event of a lost parcel, we cannot send a replacement until the courier confirms the item as officially lost in transit (this may take up to 30 days).
Safe-Space & Letterbox Deliveries
By selecting Standard 3–5 Day or Express 1–2 Day Shipping, you agree that the courier may deliver your order via letterbox or safe-space.
Once tracking confirms successful delivery, Routes Hair Extensions Ltd is not liable for loss, theft, or damage.
Deliveries may be made to your address or to a neighbour’s safe-space.
If a parcel cannot be located after confirmed delivery, please check with neighbours and nearby safe spaces.
If tracking shows proof of delivery, the incident is considered theft, and we recommend contacting local authorities.
International Shipping
We offer worldwide shipping via tracked courier service.
• Flat rate: £20 (for parcels up to 2kg)
If your parcel exceeds 2kg, we will contact you before dispatch.
Please note that international customers are responsible for paying import taxes, customs duties, or local VAT, as applicable in their destination country. These charges are not included in Routes prices.
Returns Policy (Retail & Trade Customers)
Faulty or Incorrect Items
We operate a 14-day return policy for all customers – retail and trade.
You may return any unused goods for exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving your order.
Please include a Return Form (or a handwritten note if you don’t have a printer).

Conditions for Returns
• Items must be unused, in original packaging, and fit for resale.
• Gold ties/hygiene tags must remain intact.
• Returns are your responsibility until they reach Routes Hair Extensions we recommend using a tracked insured service.
• Routes Hair Extensions Ltd cannot be held responsible for returns that do not reach us.
• Return postage costs are not refundable.
Removing hygiene tags indicates acceptance that goods are of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
If items are returned outside this policy or deemed unsaleable, they will be returned to you (postage at cost) or securely disposed of after 30 days.
If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, please follow the procedure outlined in our Terms & Conditions – Faulty Goods Policy.
Please note:
• Hair extensions are classed as consumable products.
• All potential faults must be reported within 30 days of delivery.
• Hair must be unused and returned in its original colour and packaging for testing.
• Hair extensions coloured, toned, chemically treated, or used with non-Routes aftercare products are not covered by our guarantee.
